100% Syrah from Columbia Valley, and 100% killer! Absolutely love the color...not the purple and black darkness you get with Napa Syrahs. It poured a black and faint purple hue with a dustiness/dirtiness to it. On the nose, there is a smokiness note and maybe charcoal. Loads of blackberries, currant, herbs, and just the smallest bit of bitter dark chocolate on the palate and finish. This is after 1hr of air...looking forward to seeing it change with another hour or two. @Eric S , bravo, and thanks for including this in our wine swap!

6 months since my last bottle. This has evolved nicely. Oak in check, big black and blue fruit. Bright acidity. A good 7-10 years left. Awesome deal at around $50.

Aug 8th, 2017100% Syrah from Columbia valley. Black fruit, chocolate, and licorice. Oily mouthfeel and a 30 second finish. Even better in a couple years.

Full bodied and full of spice. This has a smooth smoky finish on it. Will only get better with time!

Jul 2nd, 2016Just got 6 of these in the mail yesterday, will see how they evolve over the next few years. Really good off the bat. Full bodied, blackberries, longer finish. Oak is a little heavy which is weird, but it's off to a good start.
