Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon

@Pioneer Portfolio Tasting. This stood out as a very good example of budget Cab. Not surprised this came from somewhere other than Napa.

aromas of graphite, cedar, black fruit, animal, tobacco......flavors show graphite cedar plum tobacco blueberry.... more gentle than your average cali cab

Smooth, silky ripe cherries and cocoa spice

Excellent wine for the money. Dark cherry hint of leather with medium body of dark fruit and soft tannins.
