Really nice. First tempranillo I've had from the US and it performed really well. Cherry, stewed dark fruits, and a peppery spice. Well structured with tannins and acidity in perfect balance. Dry with a finish that seems to go on for minutes. Glad that I have two more in the cellar!

2007 is apparently the newest release and the strangeness of this grape being from Lake County made me want to try it. Dark stewed plums and some black pepper and savory herbs on the nose. Firm tannic acid but sleek mouthfeel make this a delicious pearl of a wine.

Deep ruby with purple hue. Cherry, plum, prunes. Medium plus acidity, medium sugar.
