Clear pale yellow with a hint of green. Classic Claire Valley Riesling nose of fresh cut garden hose or pool liner with a burnt rubber finish. Initially quite overwhelming acidity but this mellowed with air. Subtle Mellon with dominant grapefruit and a touch of green apple. A little too acidic and tart for me. Would probably pair well with seafood pasta and possibly some creamy cheeses.

Zesty, zingy, grassy goodness. Easy drinking on lazy days or as an evening aperitif.

Pleasant floral and melon notes but very thin on the palate and no noticeable after taste but, for me, lacking in flavour, minerality, acidity of German Riesling.

Apr 4th, 2015Bright light lemon colour with perfumed fruity floral aroma. Flavours of lime, peach, melon, honey and a little petrol intertwined together. Surprisingly it somehow has a solid earthy woody backbone. High crispy acidity swirls its candied fruit flavours into a long pleasant finish. Classic Clare Valley Riesling with added complexity makes it a pleasant drink with and without meal. Dinner for tonight is Thai style chicken curry, its coconut and signature citrus acidity really complements this wine to another level of sophistication.
