Roble Toro Tinto de Toro
Truly wonderful nose on the first day. Strong with a mix of blackberries, cocoa, peppers, and a hint of a molasses-like scent. This bottle kept my nose in the glass far longer than the average toro. It lost some of the unique characteristics on day two. A little out of balance in the mouth. Very tight tannins without enough acidity or body to keep it in check. The result is a very dry experience that requires the company of savory food.

Mar 27th, 2016Not bad... Very drinkable, lacks a little depth, but for ten bucks a bottle I would do it again...

Jan 12th, 20162012 vintage. Exactly what you want from Toro at this price. Perfectly drinkable by itself and even better with a steak or pizza. Pretty versatile wine. Happy to have it in the portfolio for sure!

Jun 4th, 2015Nose of ocean and bacon. Seductive 14.5% alcohol. Great with mushroom, tomato, garlic, spinach, pasta with grilled salmon. Un piatto delizioso. Salute.
