Tamellini
Soave Garganega

This is a very tasty white wine from Italy. Showing citrus, limes, lemons, green apples, spices, earth, white pepper and light vegetables.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Bitter finish with almonds.
Easy drinking with a nice, soft mouthfeel.
A good quality wine. Good all by itself or with food. I paired it with a meat filled pastry, by the pool.
I had it over a year ago, and it is drinking much nicer now. Would benefit from another few years in the bottle.
Tangy and interesting.
11.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Pale lemon in color with a light green hue.
Fruity on the nose with lemons, citrus, grapefruits, red apples, light vegetables, spices, dust and white pepper.
Medium bodied with high acidity, crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with limes, lemons, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, spices and minerals.
Medium plus on the finish with sour lemons.
This is a nice white wine from Italy. Not fully balanced yet, as it needs one more year in the bottle.
Better with food as it has bright acidity that would go well with oysters.
I tasted it together with the 2016 which was already better. Showing mild complexity, crisp and bright.

87 Points.

Might have been better with food. As is, just ok and not much going on.

Jul 17th, 2015Riper than previous vintages closer to Soave Classico without the distinctive lemon zip I am use to from this producer.

Sadly my last bottle of this 2018 as it just keeps delivering. If you like even a bit of Soaves you should get this

Very nice entry level Soave from Tamellini. Light golden color with green hues. Nose is bit shy at first but opens up to ripe apple and some peach notes complemented by herbs and white currant. On palate this is nicely balanced with apple, lemon and grspe notes, slight mineral vein coming up toward the end. Slight sweetness balances the acidity well. Makes me want to try the more serious bottlings which I think is a calling card for a great entry level wine. Seriously good stuff for the price
