2011 aging beautifully. Still loads of fruit . Opened up after two hours into a smooth, deep fruit bomb with spice and lovely bouquet.

I’m surprised at the low ratings. I had the 2012 and it was really enjoyable.

My first Thomas Rivers Brown wine. Very enjoyable. My first impression is that of a soft glove enwrapping the mouth. Dark violet in the glass. Cedar like on the nose. A refined palate of dark fruit and chocolate. You can taste the oak, but in a nicely balanced fashion. Moderate tannins. Moderate finish.

Interesting nose: hints of butter and vanilla. Taste is not reflected in the nose. Medium bodied, smooth with spice and pepper. Our first bottle of this blend. Very nice.
