This 8 year old Argentinian Malbec is drinking very nicely now. Showing black fruits with earth, wood, spices, chocolates, tobacco, cola, graphite and peppercorn.

Big, bold, rich and extracted with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins (1 hour).

Delicious and peaking now, so drink up.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

14.9% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

Dark purple in color with a very short purplish rim. Not showing age at all.

Fruity nose with black currants, black plums, sweet cherries, raisins, dried figs, vegetables, light wood, cola, earth, vanilla, dark chocolates, licorice, spices, pencil lead and black pepper.

Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates, cola, vinaigrette, tobacco, coffee, graphites, peppercorn and earth.

Long tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a great Malbec from Mendoza. Showing very nice complexity with a great mouthfeel. Well balanced and peaking now, at 8 years of age.

Needs an hour to open up properly, but good right out of the bottle, as it is very fruity right away.

It has high alcohol, which is nicely integrated, so watch out.

Does not feel like an Argentinian Malbec, but rather a nicely aged Californian Petite Sirah. Really enjoyed it.

Good by itself or with food. I paired It with cheeses and crackers. Very yummy.

Made with 100% Malbec grapes. Grapes are grown at high altitude of 3,700 feet . Aged for 12 months in French Oak barrels.
