Dark ruby. Nose of plum, cassis, and a bit of ash. Medium full palate is fruit forward but darkly fruited: plum, cassis, blackberry. Lengthy dark fruit finish. Medium tannins and medium acidity make for a good wine with “everyday” fare. Upscaled my meatloaf and potatoes quite nicely. Drink now.

There seems to be too much manipulation in the lab with their wine. Too soft, disjointed, high sugars, the true fruits not showing at all. Too much lab work with this one. I would gladly return this to the winery, and petition them to make wine. Almost as if it was re-constituted.
