Fresh, dense, cooked fruits reminiscent of blackberry tart. The tannins are there but pretty soft.

Excellent Mourvèdre . Love all the Tablas Creek wines - they are the sister winery to Chateau de Beucastel winery by the Perrin family. Also very accommodating if you visit them in Paso Robles.
