The bright ruby '11 Tablas Creek Rhone Blend 'Panoplie' was my favorite when visiting the tasting room late last year. Alluring scents of black and red fruits, smoky minerals, leather and lavender jump from the glass. Perfectly textured and balanced flavors of licorice, spice and cherry cola penetrate the jammy palate. Finishes with a lengthy and richly complex aftertaste.
