This is what I love in a Older Paso Rhone. The big fruit at release has developed into nice cherry high notes with some gamey, earthy underbrush. That is how Tablas with some age is supposed to be.

Stellar! Still youthful with chalky tannin, dark chocolate, sweet black raspberry, sage, mushroom and dusty red dirt. Nothing like a CDP let alone a Beaucastel, but very special in its own right.
