This week our group tasted nine Cabs from arround the world, all from the 2001. Really interesting what 20 years of aging can do depending on the terroir. This T-Vine came in #1

Aug 29th, 2021As a rule, Im not a fan of Sonoma cabs, but this one breaks the mold...even at 11 years old, this still is brilliantly purple in the glass with plums, cocoa, and a hint of pencil lead jumping out of the bowl....gives generous dark fruits, cassis, and oak shadings across the palate...tannins are dusty and just gripping enough to hold the finish for 10-20 seconds....best Sonoma cab experience ever for me....

May 20th, 201607' vintage. Unmistakably Sonoma...beautiful color with currants on the nose. Supple tannins on the mid palate and finish, with some oak. Nice balanced with the lower alcohol
