Ripe blackberries, dark liqueur cherries, black raspberries, dark chocolate, rich black earth, dry crushed stones, good acidity, big long rich full dark fruit finish. Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting with dark raspberry fruit.

Nov 28th, 2020Bright and beastly. A little sweet (vintage?) for me. Better in 10 years after it mellows? 15.8%! 60/40 cab with a schmutz of petite Syrah.

Jul 21st, 2018It took a long while to open up... over an hour. It had nice layers of fruit and complexity woven in but was missing out of the gate (overshadowed when tight and just opened). It turned into a nice red and developed a bit more balance.
