Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Bought a case of 2018 from Costco today. Great pice for a Napa. As others, and the bottle indicate “ fruit forward”. Good tannins follow and ends with a toasted marshmallow finish. Might lay the rest down for another year and see what happens.

Beautiful big cab. Full body. Excellent!

Nose of plum, cassis, roasted coffee beans with light herbal touch. Full, supple and balanced with good length. Very good Napa cab for the price. 86/14 Cab/Merlot.

10/2023. Good fruit and nice on the palate. Bold flavor.

8/2023. Laid back easy to drink Cab. Paired well with the peel & eat shrimp and the halibut at Mr. Friendly’s.

Such a smooth fruit forward treat. Let it breathe and you’ll thank me later.

Good body but lacks finish

Not many wines I enjoy more days after opening, but this improved after 3 days corked in the fridge. Plums and tart dark berries. Wait as long as possible to drink.
