A modest blackberry base with wispy but sustained tannins. Some earthy spices too. Really, this is the first wine I've had from Turkey, and if this is representative of the quality, I'd seek it out. This wine would pair well with a great many simple, earthy foods. I feel I could drink this for quite a while with an order of hummus and pita.
