Popped the rest of this guy and let air slowly for 2 hours. Dark cork on the pop! Not sure, but this one seems to have been aged in American oak as this one has VERY stiff tannin that never truly gave way even hours after cork pop. The fruit on the nose is all purple and bubblegum. The entry is acidic purple fruit. Middle has some dried herb, and the finish is stiff, young oak. The website says the 13 was in French Oak, 50% new. Not a bad showing for this wine, but I did expect better based on what I know about this producer on a whole.
