Aug 22nd, 2017I always think of this wine as engineered for the type of wine people like to drink. For an Okanagan wine, this one is priced well too. I remember this wine winning a fun tasting contest we did years ago where attendees needed to bring a wine under a certain price. It's not going to wow anyone, but the smooth blackberry flavors and tannin for great structure an inoffensive. If you enjoy it, try some other Sumac Ridge offerings or visit them in Summerland.

Fantastic blend. Nice dark, smokey notes. Smooth a wanting to be bold but just takes you to the edge without crossing the line.
