60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir. Lemon curd, apple pie crust, pear, and fresh squeezed citrus. Toasty and bready on the nose with laser acids on the palate. Curious to see the development of this region and how the market responds to the wines. There’s a cereal note here, Cheerio!

British, 60 Chard/40 Pinot Noir, aged in used Burgundian barrels. Plenty of floral aromatics, more fruit than brioche, & a very seductive palate of ripe yellow fruit like marigold apple & textured. Very good in a riper yet restrained enough style. Sells for about 50 quid, as my mum would say, but found on sale for 30$.
