Antaeus Estate Napa Valley Zinfandel Blend

2012 vintage. Super classy old school Napa. 53 Zinfandel 34 Cab Sauv 10 Petit Verdot 3 Merlot. Dark and dusty in both texture and flavor. Blackberry, currant, baked raspberry, sage, graphite, dried leaves, cedar, dried violets. Good complexity and still seems rather youthful, considering its age.

Rich, dark fruit. Very tasty.

Bought on Napa trip, enjoyed on 40th bday

Blackberry and spice come through first followed by moderate mineral components and ash. Balanced tannins, quite nice.

Really interesting red blend of Zinfandel

Spicy and delicious. Lots of spice on the nose.

Too much $ for meh.

Deliciously smooth. Lots of blackberry in the nose. Very easy drinking.

Major blackcap raspberry nose, soft and supple mouthfeel makes this one an easy drinking delight. Juicy fruit gives way to a dry mineral quality.

Balanced blend of Cabernet, merlot, and Zinfandel. Drinking well now, but has good tannic structure on the finish to cellar for a few more years.
