MO pizza wine 🍕🍷, No. 1 on off the beaten path varietals tonight...
Color is the most ridiculous purple I've ever seen, slightly translucent on its edges, I mean really cool color, not as dense as a Syrah, but close. You don't want to get this on your clothes, for sure. The wine is still opening but our initial stance is it's like a Zwiegelt/Syrah hybrid wine, but short finish. I'd like to score high for color, but if I close my eyes I'm left with the other, mild aspects. Hope air time improves...

Mar 6th, 2017I am not typically a Missouri wine lover but this is one to enjoy. Comparable to a good merlot, this is a dry red blend with an unexpected complexity of flavor. It goes well with a meal or just relaxing after dinner. A good "porch" wine.
