Jan 31st, 2015Hmm, you can smell the green tea, but that ain't what it tastes like. Well maybe just a hint. It lends it a slightly off quality which is difficult to describe in normal beer language. This is one you need to try and figure it out on your own. Yeah, I know. Big help. That's all I got.

You really get the aroma of green tea, but not so much the flavor of it. The flavor is different, but you wouldn't be able to identify it unless told it was green tea. Has a slight bitter taste from the alcohol, but overall really good. I'd definitely drink it again.

Finally got to try the green tea ipa by #stonebrewery it's alright, not bad. Not their best. But it's #beer !

Feb 3rd, 2015Nose of green tea comes before the familiar herbaceous-ness of an IPA. The rich texture of the ale reminds me more of green tea mocchi than a glass of tea. Sweet and refreshing... If you can get over the two distinct flavors.

New re release of a beer to go to Japan Earthquake relieve, all profits, very nice and interesting beer, Japanese S hops, big herbal and lemon grass, hop forward with nice malt balance, high AVB, number to equal the earthquake impact scale,overall, real nice, not anything Great, but for a good cause and worth tasting
