I was disappointed with earlier tastings of this wine but this last one was more satisfying. Still, this is rather thin on the palate.

Better than we thought it would be for a 2011.

Popped open this bottle a year after hosting our welcome wedding weekend event at Stoller. This performed then - crowd approved! - and is even better now. Has that pop rocks front end - love this - and a long joy ride finish.

A quintessential Oregon Pinot Noir for 2011. Embodies the delicate nature that I love, yet the nose has all sorts of leathery/oaky/red fruit which carries into the taste. A definite fan!

Well balance between fruit, wood and acidity. At 12.5 % alcohol. Aromas of ripe cherry, red currants, tobacco, licorice with earthy and smoky notes. On the palate, dark fruit, root beer, cranberry, fresh mushrooms and a touch of mineral and smoked meat. Had it with roasted pork with Romaine salad and pan seared salmon with a side green salad and pesto dressing.
