2015 vintage, Syrah from the Galilee region in Israel. Dark brilliant colour, strong nose, full body California style mouthfeel. Went excellent with a juicy antrecote .

Strong dense red on the 👀 Ripe stone fruit, potent berries and wood, tobacco, allspice and clove 👃 Fruit and spices attacks you after sipping. High acidity and medium high dryness. Long finish with some alcohol burn. Paired sort of ok with steamed vegetables, baked potatoes with herbs and mushroom and lightly seasoned salmon. Paired very well with matured cheddar the next day.
Chilled it for an hour. As it got warmer it became more spicy and less fruity. Balanced and not too bad, but not my favorite wine.
