This kir was made with a splash of crΓ¨me de cassis in a crisp glass of 2018 Michelet, Petit Chablis; an elegant Chardonnay offering mouth-watering citrus π π , apple π , and tart peach π notes alongside white blossom, wet slate, sea spray π , and biscuit notes, hailing from the Petit Chablis AOC of Burgundy, France.Β ππ
The sweet cassis liqueur adds a luscious dimension to an otherwise lean and focused Chardonnay. ππ
On its own, the Petit Chablis Appellation is a wonderful place to find value-driven, unoaked Burgundian Chardonnay that would pair perfectly with shellfish and fresh oysters.Β ππππ

Nice wine and a good value. Crazy amount of wet stoney-ness. Acid is surprisingly less than expected. Medium body, nice finish.
