A little disappointed at first, in this very light, dry, slightly fizzy, cola, dried fruit and herbs Pinot Noir, Spatburgunder Kabinett trocken from Mosel.
Qualistatswein.
Sort of a pink shade of lavender.
However, it gets better with some air time...
Yes, the fizz is gone after 30 minutes, the wine is coming together, and developing character and pink fruit.
But, still quite light, herbal, rhubarb and mushroomy.
