Always good - nose reminds me more of semillon and alsace - could probably keep for some time.

Nicely aged at 12 years old. Plenty of fruit and still vibrant. Drink now and over next couple years.

2005 Steele Pinot Blanc "Bien Nacido Vineyard" is drinking pretty damn good at 11 years old. More straw than golden in color. Nice green apple aroma. Bracing acidity with plenty of fruit. Drinking great now and will hold well for another couple years. Surprisingly youthful.

It reminds me of my favorite qualities of Chardonnay (oaky, med bodied, buttery smelling, straw-colored happiness), but with a crisp, dry, finish that makes it great in summer. This is like 'I can't believe it's not Chardonnay' for nasty, humid days- my tastes are the same but the real deal makes me feel sweaty just thinking about it.
