From the Carneros part of Napa this is somewhat of a cool climate Syrah. Decent amount of cracked pepper layered over a smooth finish.

A nice white that needed a little time after opening. Once it breathed for a while it became very delicate, smooth and crisp.

Not usually a Syrah fan, but loved this when tasting at the winery. Full bodied, tannic, but without that bite I usually associate with Syrahs. $45 at the winery - can't wait to open it up someday!
