Holloran Eola-Amity Hills Tempranillo

Inky purple red. Black olive, butter, raspberry and licorice notes in nose. Blackberry, raspberry and red fruit jam notes in mouth. Muddy black licorice-tinged finish with fine seed tannin sediment (unfiltered), slight soapy mouthfeel with black olive and raspberry notes in finish and aftertaste. Worth filtering or decanting, if you like. Good balance, moderate astringency, initially with some spiky tactile finish from tannins and tartaric crystals

Dry but not Mojave, fruity but not a pie, and sweet but not candy. Delightful.

Thicker and sweeter than the dry cabs I typically drink but fantastic wine I can’t wait to buy again! Purchased at Borzynski's Farm & Floral Market.

What a delightful find! Enjoyed as an aperitif & with pizza with friends while visiting in Portland.

Drank this at Vino Veritas with John King and Emma on 11/12/18. Not as tannin-y as most Tempranillo wines. Very good!

Highly quaffable; bitter finish reminiscent of olives.

Oak flavors dominate - some dark red fruit. Good balance - tasty oaky finish
