May 6th, 2025From 375. Didnt want to risk another Barolo. It is incredible how rounded this one is for a 2014. But perhaps the 375ml bottle helped that. Great chalky and youthful blackberry, boysenberry. Even in 375, this has a lot of aging to do but I can see the bones and structure are here for a really good wine. Limestone gritty finish with tannin. Pepper present, but in check. Nice wine and will develop over the next decade or 2.

Indulging in a magnum of Artemis and only a porterhouse will do. Still needs to breathe but already pepper, dark berries and tobacco notes are coming through.

Some great steak and a great Cab. Hi from San Jose Tom!

Sumptuous fruit and long finish. Floral notes in the aroma, dark berry, spice, and long smooth finish. Good balance. Medium weight. Made me think of what Queens Peak Cabernet might be like when it grows up. A delightful experience and worth the price.

Nov 11th, 2017Bottle from Dierbergs $39.
Great straight from the bottle but better with decaying for an hour. Medium to full bodied with good structure and mid acidity. Light on spice but good earthiness and somewhat floral.
