Lovely. Generous, grilled red fruit, earth, mineral and violets. Linear, bright palate with plenty of structure. Great food wine. Perfect window. I wish CA still made cabs like this.

I first had this wine upon release before I really got into wine and have followed this producer ever since...16 years later and it is absolutely fantastic! It started really elegant but then peeled back layers of structure and earth and baked plum fruit. Reminiscent of a Bordeaux but a true Cali classic!
