Probably nearing its end, but for now it's still exceptional. Deep maroon color, full bodied. The fruit is secondary but still visible. Leather, persimmon, tobacco. Medium tannins. Long finish. The nose is good enough that you want to smell the glass even after the bottle is empty.

Beautiful wine. Elegant like a bordeaux after 20yrs. Let it open for sure, as it kept getting better.

Had a hard time to guess the varietal. It was very oaky, fruity, warm - I could tell it is from the New World, but it is spicy, acidity and tannin is still high, and hardly any cassis, and wood that throws us off to guess it was a 98% Cabernet Sauvignon.
