Yummy rarity from the cellar. A classic feeling cab for sure. Bright red fruit, nice dose of tobacco and spice box. Aging very well!

2nd wine of Staglin, makes a compelling case for passing on its prodigious sibling on price-value. Way younger than 15 years on P&P, gained weight and complexity in the glass. Intense cassis, stony minerality laced into a chocolatey and blue-black fruit core. Lonnnng finish with Rutherford dusty liquorice. Outstanding. 5+ yrs to go.
