I don’t have many Napa ‘07s but the few I’ve opened are either tannic beasts or tannic beauties. This is most definitely the latter! Black liquorice on blacker earth, sexy nose, long back end. Don’t see this improving on a great showing.

Very balanced and pleasant. Opened up and nose was soft and very sweet. Great acidity and you can almost feel some cab franc on the back end glide across your palate. This is a very good wine and I'd expect a couple more years would have made it better.
