Too late in the day to match wits with this complex and flavorful beauty. Suffice to say this was the perfect match for tonight's grill. Depth and layered flavors to spare. Will still develop for several more years. It's got all the tools.

Not what I was hoping for, but nice cool climate new world Syrah nonetheless. Dark, dark violet color. Packed with black and blue fruits on the palate. Fine tannins. Overall, just a little simple and lacking those funky, meaty Syrah notes.

Big, juicy black fruit that made out with a cinnamon stick. Plush mouthfeel; a hair more tannin than acid, which actually compliments the rich fruit flavors.
