This was a lower end Riesling as well but little SO2 (understandable as it is a 2017) peach Gardenia fruit spice considerable RS and 9.5 ABV nice balance of acidity and residual sugar

Found at a discount super market, not showing the full potential character that I'm used to for a Rheinhessen Spätlese

Very nice later-harvest Riesling from the Mosel region. Tropical fruits, lemon zest with minerals and slight honeyed residual sweetness. Youthful product- drink till 2025

Very zesty and bright. It's more lemon syrup than honey, clean, not terribly complex but solid. We paired it with spicy food and it worked well.
