Unfortunately I couldn’t make it to Pinot Palooza on the weekend but thanks to @nzwineaus I had my very own Pinot lovers night at home with this gorgeous bottle of Spy Valley Envoy 2014 Pinot Noir from Marlborough, New Zealand 🇳🇿

I also had a Kapiti Boysenberry ice cream 🍦 with it, because #winenot 😜

In the glass it’s a a beautiful cherry, ruby red with notes of plums and baking spice on the nose. Actually Mr Spittoon and I likened it to a Xmas berry-pie! In the mouth it’s mouth-wateringly elegant with juicy red and black fruits. The finish wants to be best friends forever... 👯‍♀️

Deep garnet color. A bit deep and making me forest like aroma. Fruity and juicy. Acidic. This is a type I have not met as NZ Pinot Noir before. 2nd day, still good! 2010 is good vintage for this one. @990, wine plus, 181207
