This was not good...it was spectacular. Was great at the winery when we bought 6 bottles a couple of years ago, and each bottle has gotten better. I just ordered another case! Esther said she thought it one of the best wines she had ever tasted. It was complex with tons of fruit while remaining subtle. Acid and tannins present, but balanced. Long, long, round finish. The kind of nose that's so good, you don't even need to drink.

Beautiful, Bordeaux-like, dark fruit at first, then more refined as it opened with sour cherry, minerals, rose petal, fresh herbs, with touch of mint and a finish that went on & on... Absolutely lovely!

Beautiful wine with lots of life left in it. I'm guessing it could last at least 5-7 more years. Expressive nose of black fruit and violets. Black cherries, plums, tobacco, wet earth, cocoa, and licorice on the palate with a long finish. Tannins are still firm but very well balanced and drinking superbly. I wish I had another bottle in the cellar!
