Licorice on the nose!!! Whoa honey. Licorice is king on this aroma. This tastes more like a Zinfandel to me than a Pinot noir. That macerated cherries and slightly menthol feeling you get from a zin, that's what I get here. It's more weird than good for my Pinot noir preferences but I'm digging the new perspective.
