Field Book Griffin's Lair Vineyard Syrah
2014. Young, meaty, and oh so full of itself. Not a lot of change since last note. (See below) If only more American producers could pull this off. The way it should be.

Super-fine tannins, smoky and roasty earthy notes, insistent acid, and a satisfying and lingering finish. Terrific balance and concentration. Will be even better in 3-5 years. 14.4% abv. 124 cases produced.
