Strong oaky nose with wood, vanilla, lemons, grapefruits, pears, herbs, banana bread and light white pepper.
Medium plus in body with high acidity and a bit buttery.
Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, spices, light vanilla, wood and black pepper.
Medium finish with bitter almonds.
This is a nice Israeli Chardonnay. Oaky, but not very buttery. Simple and enjoyable by itself or with food. Nothing more than an average new world Chardonnay. Very pricey. I guess I expected for more at this price point.
Aged for 7 months in French Oak barrels.
