Always a 10. This wine is bold, velvety, chocolatey, and rich. For $12.50 at Total Wine it's a STEAL.

Always been one of my favorites. Velvety and chocolate with a subtle berry finish and not too sweet. Was thrilled to see it by the glass on the menu at Bar Red Beard.

Extracted blackberry and black cherry juice saturates the palate. Enough chocolate and vanilla to kill a cow. This is a style that is just overwhelming for me. Been taking some time away from vino to freshen my palate, and it seems really sensitive to extracted, fruit forward styles.

Slightly harsh. Some red fruit, but some alcohol aftertaste that lingers.

Smooth, lush, deep. Great flavor profile with a nice tannic and acidic balance. High QPR. Thanks Charleston Wine and Co for the sample!

Great wine for the price. Just the right amount of oak

I love Cali and Mondavi, but this one isn't my absolute fav. Not as sweet as I thought it would be, still pretty balanced with very mild tannins, a tiny bit of dryness, but lots of ripe fruit. Not bad! I just like more dry, tannic wines :)
