Drinking 2016 vintage on 12/14. Inky dark, remnants of currant, and mild pepper. High alcohol (14.5%) but very smooth. I feel like whiskey drinkers would appreciate this wine…maybe.

Drinking really nice right now. Has that nice little spicy element on the palette. Lots of darker fruit too. Little funk on the nose. Nice.
