Nebbiolo.
Very light complexion with hints of jam Berliner on the nose both of which don’t prepare you for the depth of flavour or gorgeous tannin that follows.

I'm not a racist, but I dated one. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my friends who brought me my first Australian Nebbiolo. I expected Australian Nebbiolo to be big, over the top, and obnoxious. Is that racist? I'm not sure. But, this wine is tender, supple, and lush. Very nice flavors of cherries, blood orange, stony tannins, and rose pedals on the finish. Decanted for an hour, but it wants 3. I'm so happy I got to drink this wine, and I wish I could have more.
