1998 vintage... Disgorged 2012!?! Uh, wow. Not sure about the thinking there... Bruised fruit. Disjointed. Purchased at winery, but seems that something went wrong.

1997, 10 years on the lees. Minty, dried orange peel, spent coffee grounds. Little tired.

The 1998 vintage Blanc de Blancs was not disgorged until Spring 2012. With a lightly oxidative nose of nut skin and dried citrus, the creamy palate has a slightly biting mushroom finish following a light cream ultra-clean palate. Baby bello mushrooms a perfect pairing.
