This was a full, rich wine: aromatically open with a mix of red raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, dark chocolate, sweet mint, and a savoriness like balsamic roasted vegetables, the flavors were well integrated and intense on the palate, supported by resolved silky tannins, a full body, and moderate acidity that I wish were a bit higher to balance a slightly bitter phenolic bite I got on the finish. From my favorite producer in Washington State, which is also one of my favorite regions for Bordeaux varieties.
