Tasting group at Cain. Wine D. Deep gold color. Only dry wine in the group. Tart, flavors very evolved. My 5th place , group's 5th. Delicious wine.

Outstanding wine. Reminds me of old school Alsatian PG.

Apple cider, cream soda, overripe pear, pear skin, stewed stone fruit, yellow florals, cut dry grass, saline, elegant fine chalky minerals and a very polished finished.

When I was a kid, I used to grate apple and have it drizzled with honey. This is that, in a bottle. Golden deliciousness.

Oxidative, nutty, smooth, concentrated.
Floral + honeyed. YUM!

2013. I imagine that this wine is why Tokaji was mad at Alsace for calling Pinot Gris "Tokay". Lots of similarities. Floral, textured, stone fruit, mineral, & soooo pleasant.

Wow! Grassy on the nose, white nectarine and minerals, high acid. Delicious!
