This one took an hour or so to open up, but once it did it was amazing! Baking spices and dark fruit on the nose and palate. The varietal composition for this wine seems to vary by vintage, but this '18 was all merlot. Funny, this bottle was a substitution for a different one that ended up being out of stock. I think I enjoyed this one more than I would have enjoyed my first choice! 100% Merlot. 2/5/23.
