Sobon Estate
Vicious Petite Sirah
Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.
Mild nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, licorice, light vanilla, wood, spices, peppercorn, leather and smoke.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Very fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, currants, raspberries, earth, green herbs, spices, peppercorn and tobacco.
Long finish with soft tannins, black pepper and tangy pomegranates.
A nice Californian Red Wine. Not very complex, but very tasty. Good out of the bottle, and becomes more complex as it opens up.
Balanced with a nice mouthfeel, and enjoyable by itself or with food. The tangy ending is interesting.
I Paired it with cheeses and light appetizers, by the river, a nice way to end the weekend.
14.1% alcohol by volume.

Wow, This is surprising! This is definitely a light Michael David petite Syrah.
Color is dark pinky purple with a purple rim. Medium bodied with gorgeous legs and 14.1% alcohol.
On the nose, extremely fruity with blackberries, plums, raisins, ripe figs, chocolates, spice box, vanilla, smoke, oak, and peppercorn.
Very fruity on the palate as well, with all the above, with mellow tannins.
Long finish with Very little tannins and tart cherries.
If this had more tannings, I would give it 4.5 stars, but I still loved it.

Plum, raisin, smoke bomb. I kind of love it. Good for hot-off-the-grill fare
