Lovely berrylicous nose. Like a huckleberry strawberry patch in the sun. Chewy. Ripe and bright. Long finish of blackberry and cassis. Plenty of backbone. Acid and tannins in spades. But still balanced.

Pale ruby. Expressive nose displaying aromas of cedar, vanilla, very ripe dark plums, strawberry, dark cherry and hints of liquorice. Full-bodied and slightly warm with silky tannins and a pronounced fruit concentration. Very long finish. Very nice wine.

Very nice zin, a great value. Opens up nicely after aerating/decanting. Minerals and spices, not too fruit forward.
